I just wanted to express my sincere thanks to you for acting on the results of the survey. For far too long Withernsea has been forgotten by too many politicians particularly those at County Hall. I have lived in With all my life and I have seen a slow decline. My children are now grown up and have moved away from the area as there are no jobs or prospects for them. My husband and I work in Withernsea but there is always that prospect of losing our jobs as less and less tourists visit our town. Crime is on the increase and you only have to drive through town on a weekend to see the large numbers of youths hanging around on street corners. I hope you can help us before this down dies.
